| On the Subject of Rabbits |

Rabbits? Why rabbits? Who knows? Let's just say that I've become associated with rabbits
for reasons that have been lost in the mists of the mid-90s. It was a frightening time.
Frightening things happened. This is one of them.
But enough about rabbits. On to the true reasons you're here - pointless biographical info! Most people know me as Dwip. It's another frightening 90s thing. If you're coming here from Tonto, you know me as Marius, the Roman consul. Some other people know me as Thag, one of the cavemen from The Far Side. But, you ask, who am I reaaaaaally? Those of you from the mythical land of Real Life know me as Erik Wolfe. I'm a 22 year old student at Oregon State University, majoring in history. In specific, I do Roman history, which is why I've got the name Marius. It's all Colleen McCullough's fault, really. When I'm not absorbed in some part of the history of the world, I'm a gamer. I started off in AD&D 2nd Edition clear back in 1992, and I still play 3rd Edition quite a bit. I've been playing Battletech for about as long. I quite literally grew up on video and computer games - I clearly remember the days of being 5 and playing the original Wizardry with Dad. These days I do a lot of strategy gaming - Civilization 3 and Age of Kings amongst them - and RPGs like the Baldur's Gate series and Morrowind. I've been playing Multi-User Dungeons (MUDs) since 1996, and am currently an admin on one I helped found, called Alsherok. I now have a resume page, as well as an awards page. And because no bio section would ever be complete without pictures... ![]() Myself at 17. Not stoned, amazingly, though I DO sort of look it... ![]() And myself at 22. |
