Well, it's here. I'm now burnt out beyond all recognition. Sleeping 3 hours at a stretch, cannot focus on what I'm supposed to be doing...took me like seven hours to write three pages last night. The more and more I think about it, the more and more I think my decision to take time off after graduation is a wise one. I want this to end. I need this to end. I'm tired of term after term of sacrificing myself on the altar of academia. Oh so fucking tired.
I've got a lot to say, I think, lots of pictures to post, but they're going to have to wait for a day or so. Because by tonight I need to have my HST 335 presentation done, and have another five-odd pages of my HST 407 paper done.
And for you faithful blog readers, just think. This is the LAST TIME you'll have to spend weeks listening to me rant about how I'm burnt out and tired and cranky about the end of the term. It's almost over, now. Soon. Soon.
Posted by Dwip at March 8, 2004 11:24 AMReally, normal people are unable to sleep 3 hours a night no matter how much caffeine they get...you deserve some kind of A+ in PE for that ;)
Posted by: toasty at March 8, 2004 12:22 PMOh, I think you'd be amazed what you can do if it comes right down to it. I mean, I don't WANT to pull the schedule I'm pulling, do the things I'm doing, but if that's what it takes to pass the class and graduate, then that's what it takes.
One thing I'll give college, you really get a sense of your limits, or the lack thereof.
Posted by: Dwip at March 8, 2004 1:20 PMThere are no limits! There is only life or death. Choose wisely.
And give me more caffeine. And IV would work.
Posted by: Whir at March 8, 2004 4:51 PMI'm starting to get tired of school myself. Although spring break is in 1 1/2 weeks. This is good.
