| Summoner SR |
| The use of the Summoner as the main heavy Omnimech of the 17th Raven Striker Cluster dates to Star Colonel Siegel's time on Lum, where his Summoner was the only Omnimech in his entire trinary. Given his bent for tinkering on designs, Siegel modified his Summoner to suit, adding a half ton of additional armor for slightly better protection, and modifying the configuration of the weapons to suit. |

| The Primary configuration, based on the Summoner that Star Colonel
Siegel piloted into battle on Lum, is outfitted as a general purpose
mech, mounting twin PPCs and three medium lasers, plus TAG, all backed
up by three extra heat sinks and a targeting computer. Primary
configuration Summoner SRs commonly serve as the mainstay of entire
stars.
The A configuration trades the Prime's TAG for an ECM suite. At least one of these is commonly assigned to each heavy star in the 17th. The B configuration serves as a fire support mech, mounting four LRM 15 racks, six tons of ammunition, and two medium lasers for support. Due to ammunition limitations, the B configuration is only used where supplies are plentiful. The 17th Raven Striker's trial of fire was in a Trial of Possession for a stock of Clan Coyote's advanced tactical missile systems. After trouncing the Coyotes, the 17th was almost immediately challenged to a Trial of Possession for the ATMs by Steel Viper forces. Snow Raven techs found that ATM 6 racks would substitute nicely for the depleted LRM 15 racks on Alpha Trinary's B configurations. With these new weapons, the Snow Raven forces handily kept possession of their new prizes. The D model serves to provide mobile artillery support in the absence of aerospace support. Slightly more complex than the standard pod replacement, the D model replaces the entire left arm with a large Arrow IV system. 6 tons of ammunition rest in the torso, while a single large laser serves as a support weapon. The E configuration is the urban combat version of the Summoner SR. It mounts a single large pulse laser backed up by quad medium pulse lasers, all tied into a targeting computer. Twin machine guns provide anti-infantry support, while an SRM 4 with a ton of ammunition, often inferno, rounds out the weapons. In addition, the E configuration carries its own ECM and active probe. |
