| Civilization IV |
| With all the years I spent playing Civ 3, is it any surprise that I
would get Civ 4 as soon as it came out? Thus far, I am not
disappointed. It's like Civ 3, except almost everything got done
right.
The same set of links applies to this game as it did to Civ 3 - RBCiv is a fantastic group of players, who continually come up with interesting and challenging variants to play. Civfanatics is where succession games get hosted, as well as being a source for pretty much anything you ever wanted for Civ. |
| Multiplayer |
| One of the attractions of Civ 4 is that multiplayer is finally worth playing. And worth writing about. |
| Succession Games |
| Succession games are a concept wherein a group of people trade off
playing a game of Civ. One person takes a few turns, then the next
person, etc. It's a lot of fun, especially when you get great
teammates as one generally does in RB games.
RB2c - Just trying to win with Mali on Noble. RB3 - A Monarch-level, quick speed, warmonger game with the Aztecs. |
| Epics |
| The Epics are a set of variant games, which can be better explained by
visiting RBCiv and reading than I ever can. Needless to say,
they're a lot of fun.
Epic 1 [1 2 3 4 5 6 7]- Wherein we are French. Honorable French. |
| Other Games |
| My solo games that I've seen fit to write about. |
