Writings
Over the last few years, I've written quite a number of things, some of which I've deemed worthy of passing on to the world at large (less than previously, some might notice).

Short Stories
I've also written a number of short stories, all of which appear on the Alsherok website.  A knowledge of the world is helpful, I suppose, but I think you can read them individually without really knowing the history.  But hey, it's a cool world, you should check it out.  And I'm not just saying that because I wrote half of it, either. ;)

A Day in Hell: This is the story of how one of my favorite areas in Alsherok, the Ruins of Midgaard, came about.  For those of you who aren't mudders, Midgaard is the stock town that comes with most Diku muds.  Both the implementer and I hated it, so we devised a way to obliterate it.  Heh heh heh...

Assassins: I was bored in senior English class one day, and this scene kept running over and over in my mind.  It eventually became the beginning of the story.  The bit at the end confuses most people, so I'll give you a hint: The inspiration for it comes from the last part of a Colleen McCullough book, either The First Man in Rome or The Grass Crown.

Nine Steps: This is the product of one of those state writing assessments you take in 10th grade (at least in Oregon).  The thing I got said use "Nine Steps" as a title.  This is what I came up with.  The ending is kind of bad, since I had to fit the title.  It's also the first thing I wrote that I considered letting other people see. ;)

Quotes
As I run across quotes that I like on the net, I try and keep them around... You can find my list of them here.
